Job Description

Join the vibrant nightlife team at Crown Resorts in Melbourne as a Glass Collector! This casual night shift role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible hours in a high-energy, social environment. You’ll be an essential part of maintaining the cleanliness and flow of our bars and entertainment venues, ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently collect and clear used glassware from various bar areas and public spaces.
  • Sort and stack glassware for washing and re-use.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy bar environment, including wiping down surfaces and emptying bins as needed.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Work collaboratively with bar staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be proactive in identifying areas requiring attention and responding promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being friendly and helpful to guests and colleagues.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work casual night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays of glassware for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A positive attitude and a passion for creating great guest experiences.
