Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable Air Con Offsiders to join our dynamic team in Karratha. With the high summer demand approaching, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, work on critical infrastructure projects, and earn top pay. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified Air Conditioning Technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Carrying tools and equipment to and from work sites efficiently.
- Preparing work areas, including setting up safety barriers and ensuring cleanliness.
- Performing basic manual tasks such as cutting, drilling, and lifting components.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and vehicles to a high standard.
- Following all safety procedures and regulations meticulously.
- Learning and developing practical skills in HVAC systems under supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools and their safe usage.
- Valid C-Class Australian Driver's License.
- Construction Induction White Card (or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement).
- Commitment to strict safety protocols and workplace health and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a trade assistant or labourer role (preferably in HVAC or a related trade).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working in remote or industrial environments.
