Job Description
Join our vibrant team at Adelaide Flower Wholesalers as a Flower Packer! This full-time position involves light, clean work in our Mount Barker facility, focusing on preparing beautiful flowers for distribution. You’ll be an essential part of ensuring our high-quality blooms are carefully handled, packed, and ready to bring joy to our customers. Day shifts offer a consistent schedule in a supportive and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming flower shipments for quality and freshness.
- Carefully sort, trim, and prepare flowers according to specific client orders and quality standards.
- Efficiently pack flowers into appropriate packaging for safe transport.
- Label packages accurately for destination and content.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily packing targets are met.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform light physical tasks, including standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
