Job Description
Are you a budding creative with a passion for groundbreaking ideas and a desire to build a portfolio that truly stands out? M&C Saatchi is seeking a highly motivated and imaginative Paid Creative WFH Intern to join our remote team. This unique internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a top-tier advertising agency, working on real client briefs and internal projects, all while honing your craft from the comfort of your home. You’ll collaborate with experienced art directors, copywriters, and strategists, contributing fresh perspectives and developing concepts that resonate. This role is designed to significantly enhance your creative portfolio, providing you with tangible work examples and mentorship to kickstart your career in advertising. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior creatives in brainstorming and concept development for various campaigns.
- Contribute to the creation of visual and written content across multiple platforms (digital, social, print).
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform creative strategies.
- Develop mood boards, storyboards, and initial mock-ups for client presentations.
- Participate actively in creative reviews and feedback sessions, offering constructive input.
- Support the team in preparing and refining creative assets for production.
- Maintain an organized system for creative files and project documentation.
- Take initiative to propose new ideas and approaches that align with client objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational understanding of creative principles (design, copywriting, visual communication).
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for aesthetic quality.
- Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts.
- Demonstrated portfolio (even student work) showcasing creative potential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Advertising, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related creative field.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation best practices.
- Previous experience (even unpaid or personal projects) in a creative role.
