Job Description

Elders in Victor Harbor is looking for a motivated and reliable Farm Irrigation Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, including pipes, sprinklers, and pumps.
- Monitor irrigation schedules and ensure efficient water distribution to crops or pastures.
- Inspect irrigation equipment for malfunctions, leaks, and wear and tear, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Perform general farm duties as required, which may include fencing, land preparation, and crop care.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of irrigation activities and water usage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies on the farm.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
