Job Description
Join Australia Post as an E-bike Postie and become a vital link in connecting communities across Canning Vale. We provide comprehensive training and all the necessary equipment, including a modern E-bike, so no prior experience is required. You will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels safely and efficiently, ensuring timely service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses using an E-bike.
- Organize and sort mail for your designated route to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned E-bike and equipment.
- Report any delivery issues or concerns to your supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 16kg (bag of mail/parcels).
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to road rules.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's license or equivalent ID for road use.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the local Canning Vale area (helpful but not required due to training).
- Previous experience in a role requiring outdoor work or physical activity.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
