Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced MC Licensed Truck Drivers for double trailer operations based out of our Warrnambool depot. This is a vital role responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across regional Victoria and beyond. You will operate modern, well-maintained vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all road transport regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate MC Licensed vehicles with double trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure secure loading and unloading of freight, adhering to load restraint guidelines.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks and delivery manifests.
- Adhere to all road transport legislation, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or hazards promptly.
Required Skills
- Current and valid MC (Multi-Combination) Driver's License.
- Demonstrated experience operating double trailers.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of load restraint principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement.
- Forklift license.
- Previous experience with linehaul operations.
