Job Description
Join the dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Gungahlin Distribution Centre as a Voice Picker. This ongoing full-time role is crucial for our supply chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked and prepared for dispatch. You will use innovative voice-activated technology to navigate the warehouse, locate items, and confirm selections, contributing directly to our mission of delivering quality products to Australian households.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise voice-activated picking systems to accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other manual handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity in picking orders.
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment and report any faults.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies within the distribution centre.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and tidying, as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move goods regularly (up to 20kg).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
- Experience with voice picking technology.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
