Job Description
Are you ready to start work immediately? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Regional Fruit Packers to join our team in Port Pirie, South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking immediate employment with provided accommodation. You will be responsible for packing a variety of fresh produce, ensuring quality and efficiency. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pack fresh fruit and vegetables according to quality standards and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on produce to ensure only high-quality items are packed.
- Operate packing machinery safely and effectively after training.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing or production environment.
