Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in logistics with no prior experience? Toll Group is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Shipping Clerk Assistant to join our team in Renmark. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping documentation, including labels, manifests, and customs forms.
- Utilize computer systems and software for data entry, tracking shipments, and updating inventory records.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Maintain an organized and tidy work environment in the shipping office.
- Learn and adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Support the shipping team with general administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
- Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of administrative processes or office environment (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with the Renmark area.
