Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to kickstart a career in pool maintenance with Poolwerx in Geelong. As a Part-time Pool Maintenance Trainee, you will learn the ropes of professional pool and spa care under the guidance of experienced technicians. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and a desire to contribute to our team. This role involves day work, typically during business hours, providing essential support to our busy service schedule and ensuring our clients’ pools remain in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior technicians with routine pool and spa cleaning and maintenance.
- Learning and applying proper chemical balancing techniques.
- Cleaning pool filters, pumps, and other equipment.
- Performing water testing and recording results accurately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work vehicles and equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Providing friendly and professional service to clients.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (essential for travel between sites).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
- Basic understanding of pool chemistry or willingness to learn quickly.
- Local knowledge of Geelong and surrounding areas.
