Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Janitorial Support for School & Office Cleaning. This crucial role involves maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various educational and corporate facilities in the North Lakes area. You will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors, contributing directly to the wellbeing and productivity of the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas thoroughly.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisor.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to spillages and emergency cleaning requests.
- Support special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleaning or floor waxing.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
