Job Description
Are you passionate about providing exceptional service and have a knack for handling luxury vehicles? The Mangrove Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Valet Parking Attendant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in luxury hospitality, offering the unique opportunity to drive and care for a diverse range of high-end vehicles. You will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, making a lasting impression with your efficiency, courtesy, and commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing a superior first impression.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, including luxury, exotic, and standard cars, with utmost care and efficiency.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other belongings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure valet parking area.
- Provide accurate directions and information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle damage, security concerns, or suspicious activity to management immediately.
- Operate valet equipment and technology systems effectively.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles proficiently.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, run, and lift luggage for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with a variety of luxury vehicle makes and models.
- Knowledge of the Broome area and local points of interest.
