Job Description
Are you seeking an immediate start with a high hourly rate in a dynamic environment? Toll Group is actively seeking highly motivated and reliable Container Unloaders to join our bustling Karratha operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role and are eager to contribute to essential logistics processes. You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the timely and safe handling of goods arriving daily in shipping containers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload a variety of goods and materials from shipping containers efficiently and safely.
- Sort, stack, and organize products according to specific warehouse procedures and client requirements.
- Operate manual handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures to prevent incidents and injuries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting (up to 25kg), bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or general labour environment.
- Current driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory handling.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
