Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic team at Mantra Hotel Shepparton. This role is pivotal in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome, efficient service, and a memorable stay. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and resolving any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude. This position operates in a professional environment and requires availability for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for first-call resolution.
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records.
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation arrangements when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) or similar POS systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role.
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
