Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Vegetable Packers (On-Farm) in Joondalup. This is an ongoing, full-time position with an immediate start, offering a stable opportunity to work directly on our farms. You will be responsible for carefully sorting, inspecting, and packing a variety of fresh vegetables, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards before distribution. This role requires attention to detail, a good work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and grade vegetables according to size, quality, and colour standards.
- Carefully pack vegetables into designated containers, boxes, or bags.
- Inspect produce for defects, damage, or spoilage.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Operate basic packing machinery and equipment as required.
- Assist with other farm duties, such as harvesting or general labour, when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 15 kg.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the farm location.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, farming, or production environment.
- Knowledge of various vegetable types and quality standards.
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
