Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Onboarding Lead to join our team in Fremantle. This pivotal role involves guiding our new clients through the successful technical implementation and adoption of TechnologyOne’s enterprise software solutions. You will be the primary technical point of contact during the onboarding phase, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to ‘go-live’ by bridging technical complexities with client business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and exceptional client communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical onboarding process for new clients, ensuring timely and successful implementation of TechnologyOne solutions.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client environments, requirements, and integration points.
  • Configure and customize software solutions to meet specific client needs, adhering to best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the setup, testing, and migration phases.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, project management, product development, and support teams to ensure a cohesive client experience.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions and documentation for client teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the onboarding period.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in a technical onboarding, implementation, or professional services role for enterprise software (ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms).
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex software systems, databases, APIs, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with project management principles and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in relevant enterprise software platforms or project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Familiarity with TechnologyOne products or similar ERP solutions.
  • Experience working in a client-facing lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with SQL databases and scripting languages.
