Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for an Entry Level Box Maker & Assembler position at our Whyalla facility. This role involves simple factory work, primarily focusing on assembling and preparing packaging materials. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. Key Responsibilities
- Manually assemble cardboard boxes and other packaging materials according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto production lines.
- Inspect finished boxes for quality and adherence to standards.
- Stack and organize completed boxes for storage or shipment.
- Operate basic packaging machinery under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with other general factory duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
