Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Business Analyst to join our IT & Operations team in Docklands. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional to kick-start their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior analysts and various stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse processes, and contribute to the successful implementation of IT solutions that enhance our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the testing phase, including developing test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide support to project managers and senior business analysts on various initiatives.
  • Help in developing training materials and user guides for new systems or processes.
  • Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Basic understanding of business processes and system development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or practical experience in a business analysis or project support role.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Exposure to data analysis tools or SQL.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
