Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Honey Processing Hands to join our seasonal team in Shepparton. This role is crucial for our peak processing period, ensuring our honey meets Capilano’s high standards of quality and purity. As a Honey Processing Hand, you will be involved in various stages of honey extraction, processing, and packaging. All necessary safety gear and processing equipment will be provided, ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the reception and preparation of raw honey for processing.
  • Operate and monitor honey extraction and filtration equipment under supervision.
  • Clean and maintain processing equipment and work areas to strict hygiene standards.
  • Support the packaging and labelling of finished honey products.
  • Adhere to all food safety and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
  • Perform general labouring tasks as required within the processing plant.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, agriculture, or a processing environment.

  • Forklift license (LF class) is an advantage.
