Job Description
Bupa Australia is seeking a passionate and results-driven Remote Health Coach to join our dynamic wellness team. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing evidence-based wellness strategies, providing ongoing support, and guiding participants through their health journeys. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual health coaching sessions with Bupa members.
- Develop personalized wellness plans based on individual needs, health assessments, and goals.
- Provide guidance and support on nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep, and chronic disease prevention.
- Motivate and empower members to adopt sustainable healthy behaviors and overcome barriers.
- Track and document member progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic member care.
- Stay updated with the latest health and wellness research and best practices.
- Facilitate group wellness workshops and webinars remotely when required.
Required Skills
- Certified Health Coach (e.g., National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach – NBC-HWC, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in health coaching or a related wellness field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and health management software.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire individuals towards health goals.
- Sound knowledge of health behavior change theories and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations and varying health conditions.
- Familiarity with the Australian healthcare system.
- Experience in remote coaching environments.
