Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Wool Presser Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to immerse themselves in traditional Australian agricultural work. You will be an integral part of our shearing shed operations, contributing to the efficient and high-quality processing of wool. Key Responsibilities
- Operate wool pressing machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Skirt fleeces to remove contaminated or inferior wool.
- Assist with sorting and classing wool according to quality standards.
- Stack and move pressed wool bales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shearing shed.
- Assist shearers and other shed staff as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Learn and adapt to various tasks within the wool handling process.
