Job Description
Join the Coles team in Bendigo as a Warehouse Picker & Packer! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with no prior experience to join our dynamic and fast-paced warehouse operation. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and ready for immediate start, we want to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in logistics and be a vital part of delivering fresh products to our customers across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing products according to order sheets.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) after appropriate training.
- Scanning products and updating inventory records.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- A strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness, capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for shift work.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read orders and counts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous exposure to a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if informal).
- Valid forklift license or experience with other warehouse machinery.
