Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Travel & Tourism Support Agent to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with their travel inquiries, bookings, and post-booking support. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding travel bookings, itineraries, and general travel information.
  • Assist customers with booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel products, and services, offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and empathetically, escalating complex problems to senior agents or supervisors when necessary.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, destination information, and company product offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets, including customer satisfaction and sales metrics.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist others.
  • Proficiency in using computers and navigating various software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or travel industry role.
  • Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution System) or other travel booking platforms.
  • A passion for travel and personal experience exploring different destinations.
  • Ability to speak a second language.
