Job Description
Are you an organised, energetic individual looking for a part-time role to kickstart your mornings? Cotton On in Alice Springs is seeking a dedicated Stockroom Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our store operations, ensuring our merchandise is perfectly organised and readily available. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, has an eye for detail, and enjoys contributing to a seamless customer experience from behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and process new stock deliveries efficiently and accurately.
- Organise and maintain the stockroom, ensuring it is tidy, safe, and easily accessible.
- Replenish sales floor merchandise from the stockroom as needed to maintain presentation standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock takes, ensuring accuracy and minimal discrepancies.
- Prepare stock for promotions, transfers, and customer orders.
- Handle returns and damaged goods according to company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the stockroom area.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team to ensure stock availability and support sales goals.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
