Job Description
Join the Amazon Australia team in Devonport as a Seasonal Picker & Packer! This is an exciting temporary opportunity to support our operations during the high-demand Christmas and peak seasons. You will play a crucial role in ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch to customers across Australia. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, have a keen eye for detail, and are ready to contribute to a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and scan products from warehouse locations.
- Efficiently pack items according to Amazon's quality standards.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks if required (training provided).
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 15 kg for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays during peak season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment.
- Experience using RF scanners or similar inventory management tools.
- Forklift license (though not essential, can be a plus for certain roles).
