Job Description
Jani-King Australia is seeking a dedicated and reliable Pressure Washing Assistant to join our mobile team in Mackay. This is a hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in delivering sparkling clean results. As a Mobile Pressure Washing Assistant, you will travel to various client sites across the Mackay region, assisting with the professional cleaning of exteriors, driveways, sidewalks, and other surfaces using high-pressure washing equipment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start a career in facility services. We offer consistent work and weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead pressure washing technician in preparing and operating high-pressure washing equipment.
- Safely set up and dismantle equipment at various client locations.
- Perform thorough pressure washing of designated surfaces including buildings, paths, carparks, and machinery.
- Ensure all work is completed to Jani-King's high quality standards and client specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all equipment and company vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site.
- Assist with other general cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport to the depot.
- Availability to work various shifts, including occasional weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with pressure washing or similar outdoor maintenance work is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
