Job Description
Are you a budding creative with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for design? Dentsu Creative is looking for a Paid Creative Intern to join our vibrant team in Oxford. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment, contribute to real client projects, and build a diverse portfolio across various industries. You’ll work closely with experienced creative directors, art directors, and copywriters, learning the ropes of campaign development from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist creative teams in brainstorming and developing innovative concepts for client briefs.
- Contribute to visual mock-ups, storyboards, and presentations.
- Support the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including digital, social, and traditional media.
- Participate in client meetings and internal creative reviews.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform creative strategies.
- Help manage and organize creative assets and project files.
- Shadow experienced creatives to learn about different roles and workflows within the agency.
- Take initiative to develop personal creative projects aligned with agency standards.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational understanding of creative principles and design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and concisely.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related creative field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative projects (personal, academic, or professional).
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and social media platforms.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro) or animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
