Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Dalby Gateway Motel. This role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and provide local information, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all. Stable hours are offered, providing a consistent work schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the motel's services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using our property management system.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
  • Assist with light administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications
