Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior E-learning Developer to join our dynamic Corporate Learning & Development team in Laverton. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring professional to contribute to the creation of engaging and impactful digital learning solutions that support the professional growth of ANZ employees. You will work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to transform complex content into interactive and user-friendly e-learning modules, ensuring high-quality and effective learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of innovative e-learning modules, online courses, and digital learning assets for corporate training programs.
- Collaborate with Senior E-learning Developers, Instructional Designers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and content scope.
- Utilize industry-standard authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar, to create interactive and engaging content.
- Integrate multimedia elements including graphics, audio, video, and animations to enhance the learning experience.
- Conduct quality assurance and testing of e-learning content to ensure functionality, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications and accessibility standards.
- Support the maintenance and updating of existing e-learning materials to reflect current policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with basic Learning Management System (LMS) administration tasks, including content uploads and user testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of e-learning development processes and standards within the team.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in using at least one major e-learning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate).
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating visual assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Previous internship or junior-level experience in e-learning development within a corporate or educational setting.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with SCORM and xAPI standards for e-learning content.
- A portfolio demonstrating e-learning projects, even academic or personal ones.
