Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Dispatch Runner to join our dynamic team in Whyalla. This ongoing, full-time position is critical to the smooth operation of our fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Dispatch Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting our dispatch operations, and contributing to overall logistical efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently move goods and materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
  • Verify product counts against dispatch orders and report any discrepancies.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, and team members.
  • Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid forklift license (LF or LO class).
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • First Aid certification.
