Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Dispatch Runner to join our dynamic team in Whyalla. This ongoing, full-time position is critical to the smooth operation of our fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Dispatch Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting our dispatch operations, and contributing to overall logistical efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move goods and materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Verify product counts against dispatch orders and report any discrepancies.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, and team members.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and cycle counts.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Valid forklift license (LF or LO class).
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- First Aid certification.
