Job Description
Lardo is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Hand to join our dynamic team for lunch shifts, Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves food, thrives in a bustling kitchen, and is passionate about delivering exceptional sandwiches. You’ll be responsible for preparing and assembling our unique menu items, ensuring quality, speed, and hygiene. If you’re reliable, a team player, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to Lardo's recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., slicers, grills).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service during order taking and serving (if applicable).
- Collaborate effectively with team members during peak lunch hours.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Required Skills
- Basic food preparation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications

- Current Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one shortly after hire).
