Job Description
Are you a budding fashion enthusiast with a passion for design and styling? Cotton On Group is seeking a dynamic and creative Fashion Intern to join our Design & Styling team in Rockingham, Western Australia. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment, working alongside experienced designers and stylists to bring our latest collections to life. You’ll contribute to various stages of the design process, from trend research and mood board creation to assisting with photo shoots and styling sessions. This is an incredible chance to learn the ropes of the fashion industry and develop your skills in a supportive and inspiring setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the design team with trend research, fabric sourcing, and mood board development.
- Support stylists during photo shoots and visual merchandising activities.
- Prepare design presentations and contribute creative ideas for new collections.
- Organize and maintain the sample library and design archives.
- Provide administrative support to the design and styling departments.
- Learn about garment construction, textile properties, and production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and merchandising.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for fashion, design, and styling.
- Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
