Job Description

Are you a student with a passion for live events and production? Live Nation is offering an exciting paid internship opportunity for an Event Student Intern to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of live entertainment. This placement will provide valuable insight into the operational and production aspects of concerts, festivals, and special events. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to various stages of event planning, execution, and wrap-up. This is a unique chance to learn the ropes from the ground up and make a tangible impact on real-world productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist production teams with event setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics.
  • Support venue operations, including stage management, artist hospitality, and technical support.
  • Conduct research for potential vendors, equipment, and production solutions.
  • Help with inventory management for production equipment and supplies.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth event flow.
  • Prepare event documentation, including schedules, run-of-shows, and post-event reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the production team as needed.
  • Observe and learn from experienced professionals in various production roles.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Event Management, Arts Administration, Communications, Production).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience or volunteer work in event production or live entertainment.
  • Familiarity with production software or equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
