Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Entry Level Stores Assistant to join our dynamic team in Berrimah, Northern Territory. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in retail and logistics. As a Stores Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse and store areas, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched correctly. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, unloading, and checking of incoming goods against delivery notes.
- Organize and store products in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory rotation.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment within the store and warehouse.
- Assist with preparing orders for dispatch and customer collection.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after receiving training.
- Help with regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide general support to the store operations as needed.
