Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Industrial Laundry Hand to join our Bathurst team. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for individuals looking for routine work, a steady income, and the opportunity to contribute to a vital service industry. You will be responsible for processing a high volume of linen and uniforms, ensuring they meet our strict hygiene and quality standards. Comprehensive training will be provided, so no prior experience in industrial laundry is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort incoming soiled linen and uniforms according to established procedures.
  • Load and unload industrial washing machines and dryers efficiently.
  • Operate various laundry equipment including ironers, folders, and presses.
  • Conduct quality checks on processed items, identifying and reporting any damage or stains.
  • Fold, count, and accurately package clean linen and uniforms for timely dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to all company health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and proven reliability.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting items up to 20kg.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications
