Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Burger Prep Hand. In this casual loading role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, prepared correctly, and ready for our customers’ favourite burgers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. As a casual team member, you’ll have flexibility in your hours and be an integral part of delivering the Hungry Jack’s experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients including slicing vegetables, portioning meats, and assembling burger components.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., grills, fryers, food processors).
- Maintain a clean and organised work station throughout your shift.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Follow recipes and preparation guidelines to maintain product consistency and quality.
- Manage stock rotation to ensure freshness.
