Job Description
Join Elders Rural Services as a Farm Fencing Crew member, undertaking essential outdoor rural work in the Caboolture region of Queensland. This role involves the construction, maintenance, and repair of various types of farm fencing across different rural properties. It requires physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing reliable and durable fencing solutions for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair various types of farm fencing, including wire, post, rail, and electric fences.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively (e.g., post-hole diggers, wire strainers, fencing pliers).
- Measure, cut, and attach fencing materials accurately.
- Clear fence lines of vegetation and debris.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Transport materials and equipment to various farm locations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in construction or outdoor work.
