Job Description
A Textile Handler at Pacific Brands plays a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of textile products. This part-time position involves the physical handling of various textile goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to the smooth flow of products from our facilities to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming textile products and materials.
- Efficiently pick and pack textile orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys (training provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with comprehensive stocktaking procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory management and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or textile handling role.
