Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Marina Support Staff to join our dynamic team at Marina Jack. This role is highly customer-facing and involves a significant amount of manual labor, ensuring the smooth operation and cleanliness of our marina facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with docking and departure procedures, including line handling and power hook-ups.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with general inquiries about the marina and local area.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of marina docks, common areas, and facilities, including restrooms and showers.
- Monitor fuel docks, assist with fueling boats, and ensure accurate transactions.
- Operate marina equipment safely and efficiently, such as golf carts, pressure washers, and waste pump-out systems.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or customer concerns to management promptly.
- Assist with waste management, including trash collection and recycling.
- Help organize and maintain marina storage areas and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of boating safety and terminology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a marina, hospitality, or outdoor service role.
- Familiarity with marine equipment and systems.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Forklift operation experience.
