Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Marina Support Staff to join our dynamic team at Marina Jack. This role is highly customer-facing and involves a significant amount of manual labor, ensuring the smooth operation and cleanliness of our marina facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with docking and departure procedures, including line handling and power hook-ups.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with general inquiries about the marina and local area.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of marina docks, common areas, and facilities, including restrooms and showers.
  • Monitor fuel docks, assist with fueling boats, and ensure accurate transactions.
  • Operate marina equipment safely and efficiently, such as golf carts, pressure washers, and waste pump-out systems.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or customer concerns to management promptly.
  • Assist with waste management, including trash collection and recycling.
  • Help organize and maintain marina storage areas and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of boating safety and terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a marina, hospitality, or outdoor service role.
  • Familiarity with marine equipment and systems.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Forklift operation experience.
