Job Description

Join BIG4 Holiday Parks as a Caravan Park Assistant for an exciting summer season on the Gold Coast! We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to support the daily operations of our vibrant park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, gain valuable experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, and contribute to creating wonderful holiday memories for our guests. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of facilities and providing excellent service to everyone who stays with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, including handling reservations and payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest inquiries and offering local recommendations.
  • Support the maintenance team with light cleaning duties and basic grounds keeping tasks.
  • Monitor park facilities, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas (e.g., BBQ areas, amenities blocks).
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including data entry and mail handling.
  • Help organize and facilitate park activities and events for guests.
  • Adhere to all park policies and safety procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong customer service orientation and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks (e.g., lifting up to 10kg, standing for extended periods).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Local knowledge of the Gold Coast region.
