Job Description
Curtin University is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our dynamic academic team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize findings.
- Assist with data collection, including surveys, interviews, and experiments.
- Organize and manage research data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Perform data analysis using relevant software and methodologies.
- Prepare research materials, presentations, and reports.
- Maintain detailed records of research activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with academic staff, researchers, and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and university research protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications and research proposals.
- Contribute to the drafting of academic papers and publications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Social Sciences, Humanities).
- Demonstrated experience in academic research or related projects.
- Proficiency in data collection and basic data analysis techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Honours degree or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

- Experience with academic databases and reference management software.
