Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Printing Bindery Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dalby. This role is perfect for individuals who possess excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to the creation of high-quality printed materials. As a Bindery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the finishing stages of our print production process, ensuring that all products meet our exacting standards before they reach our valued customers. You will work with various materials and equipment, focusing on fine manual tasks that require precision and care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of bindery tasks, including cutting, folding, collating, stitching, and laminating printed materials.
- Operate and maintain bindery equipment under supervision, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specified quality requirements.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labelling, and organising for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organised bindery area, adhering to all workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management of bindery supplies and report low stock levels.
- Collaborate with print operators and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Handle delicate materials with care, executing fine manual tasks with precision.
