Job Description
We are seeking motivated and physically fit individuals to join our Tree Ground Crew in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This is an outdoor, hands-on role vital to our tree removal, pruning, and vegetation management operations. As a key member of our team, you will assist certified arborists, manage equipment, and ensure site safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Assist arborists with tree felling, pruning, and removal operations.
- Operate and maintain a range of power tools and equipment, including chippers, chainsaws, and pole saws (with appropriate training and certification).
- Clear branches, brush, and debris from work sites.
- Set up and break down work zones, including traffic management as required.
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment and adherence to all company safety protocols and industry standards.
- Perform general laboring duties as directed.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or a similar outdoor physical role.
- White Card (Construction Induction) certification.
- Chainsaw operation competency (e.g., Level 1 or 2).
- First Aid certification.
- HR or MR truck license.
