Job Description

Ingham’s Group in Gympie is seeking highly motivated and reliable Production Labourers for an immediate start. This is an urgent hire position, offering the opportunity to join a fast-paced and essential food production environment. As a Production Labourer, you will be crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of poultry products. We are looking for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running, work effectively in a team, and maintain high standards of hygiene and quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and equipment as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform repetitive tasks on a production line, including sorting, packing, and quality checks of products.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
  • Assist with general cleaning and sanitation of the production area to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Load and unload materials, ingredients, and finished products as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, production issues, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 20kg.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to attendance.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and a willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, and cool/cold production environment.
  • Punctuality and a commitment to arriving on time for shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or general labour environment.
  • Experience with manual handling techniques and operating basic machinery.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the Gympie facility.
