Job Description

Coles Supermarkets in Canning Vale is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Supermarket Trolley Handlers. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for motivated individuals with a positive attitude who are ready to hit the ground running. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers, providing them with easily accessible trolleys and maintaining a tidy store exterior. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and return shopping trolleys from various points in the car park and store to designated trolley bays.
  • Ensure trolley bays are always stocked and accessible for customers.
  • Perform regular checks of the car park for stray trolleys, litter, and potential hazards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised trolley bay area, including occasional wiping down of trolleys.
  • Assist customers with trolley-related enquiries when needed, providing friendly service.
  • Report any damaged trolleys or maintenance issues to store management promptly.
  • Adhere to all store safety procedures and guidelines, especially when working in the car park.
  • Work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively to cover all areas.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, pushing, and lifting trolleys for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
