Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Voice Pickers to join our Distribution Centre team in Glenorchy, Tasmania, for ongoing full-time work. As a Voice Picker, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operation, accurately picking and packing customer orders using a state-of-the-art voice-activated picking system. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products according to voice commands and order specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, walkie stackers – training provided if necessary).
- Ensure all picked items are correctly packed and labeled for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety (OH&S) procedures and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to listen to and accurately follow voice instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg repeatedly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
- Familiarity with voice picking systems.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Current Forklift License (LF class).
