Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for the creative industry? Overit is seeking a Studio Assistant Intern to join our bustling Albany studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a professional creative environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our studio, supporting various creative projects, and assisting our team members across different departments. This internship offers invaluable exposure to the inner workings of a leading marketing and design agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general studio organization and maintenance to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.
• Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling, data entry, and file management.
• Help prepare for client meetings, presentations, and internal creative sessions.
• Support the creative team by assisting with minor tasks related to ongoing projects (e.g., asset organization, research).
• Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, mail, and studio supplies.
• Run errands as needed to support studio operations.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown for internal and external functions.
• Maintain office equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative studio culture.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Design, Fine Arts, Business Administration).
• Strong organizational skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
• A genuine interest in the creative industry and a desire to learn.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to our Albany studio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an office or studio environment (even if informal or volunteer-based).
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital content creation.
