Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate grain receival equipment, including weighbridges, augers, and conveyors.
  • Assist with the sampling, testing, and classification of grain to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning of grain storage facilities, including silos, bunkers, and sheds.
  • Monitor grain quality and conditions, reporting any issues or anomalies.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Support the loading and unloading of trucks and trains with various grain products.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily operational targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, dust, etc.).
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Australian driver's license and reliable transport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in agriculture, logistics, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery.
  • First Aid certificate.
