Job Description

Are you ready to kickstart your career in logistics? Toll Group is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Shipping Assistant to join our team in Mount Isa. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the receiving, inspecting, and storing of incoming shipments.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Help organize and manage warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient space utilization.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment safely after receiving proper training (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and write English clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift and move packages (up to 20kg).
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Basic numeracy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Prior experience in a physical work environment (e.g., retail, construction) is a plus but not required.
